Coey Technologies, Inc
started its website design and hosting business May 2000, we decided
to start an online store in 2003 due to the overwhelming responses
of customers asking us to build them an online store but they had
no idea what they wanted to sell. We obviously love the family name
Coey and wanted to use it for our store as well, in turn I asked
my Dad to brainstorm with me, and it took him a whole 2 seconds
to come up with Coey's Closet and I have loved it since.
We started out selling computers and servers 2003 through 2005 when Coey Tech downsized. In 2004 we start selling home interior decorating items
because another family member was in charge of this website. After
a few months Coey Tech took the site over as we lost our family
member and we let it just lie for a year or two. We kept on getting
orders so we kept running it but never adding any new products.
Since 2005 I decided I wanted to get the store up
and running and have it be more profitable. I decided on scrapbook
supplies as they were really popular and phased out the interior
decorations. That same year I came across the "Oh My Gauze"
clothing line and loved it and we decided to sell it.
In 2006 we went to Wisconsin Dells and it was a very rainy vacation.
In a down poor we decided to go shopping downtown despite the rain, we all put our
rain coats on, my son in his Kidorable Frog Raincoat, and we
ventured out early. It rained all day, when we got back around three
o'clock, we all peeled our raincoats off. All of us were drenched,
soaked to the bone. All except my son in his Frog raincoat. He slid
his jacket off and he was as dry as a bone. After that we had to
apply as a vendor with Kidorable Raincoats and gear and have been
a vendor since. Our Frog raincoat lasted through 3 boys and still looks
brand new.
Since I was already selling Herbalife I added it to the site, I can't help but sell it; family and friends
buy it from me all the time. I love their shakes I can do one a day for lunch and eat sensibly the rest of the day and lose 2-3 pounds a week. I also love
their shakes, moisturizer, vitamins and Liftoff.
Now we have taken it one step further in 2010 we have
added custom shirts and caps, we thought who doesn't wear t-shirts? I wear one
just about everyday, how about you? They are fun, we'll design our
own, or you can design your own, plus, we sell lots of fun styles.
This with my background in fashion design is right up our alley.
Unfortunately, I think I will be phasing out the scrapbook
products so hurry up and get your goodies while they last. It just
makes sense to sell more of the same stuff, women's clothing, t-shirts
and kids rain coats. Now if we could just get Kidorable to make
raincoats for adults we'd be all set (you'll never stay drier in
another rain coat!).
